I never used to think of a trip to the farm as an educational experience, but time after time, our visitors would tell us, “I really enjoyed this,” “I never knew that,” or “this has been a true educational experience.” We started to realize how out of touch the average American is with where their food comes from. After spending most of the last 30+ years raising our own family, education comes naturally, we don’t even realize we are doing it. Our visitors ask the most unique questions and we enjoy answering them. Sometimes they can stump us, but then Chan goes into his “Study Mode” and pretty soon we can answer that question, too.
We are willing to share anything we do on the farm, with any group or individual who want to learn. Most of our field trips are to pick apples or pumpkins, but don’t let that limit you. If you want to come to the farm during any season we will try to accommodate you.
Schools, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Church Groups, any kind of group is welcome. Tell us what you are working on and we will tailor your visit to help you fulfill your goal.
