We offer you the best quality Thanksgiving turkey to be found in the Treasure Valley. We raise them all naturally in our orchard. They are fed locally grown NON-GMO feed. A blend of wheat, corn, barley and alfalfa and other grains raised by our partners, Vogel Farms of Kuna. Our turkeys are never given antibiotics, growth hormone, steroids or arsenic. We believe in keeping the food we eat and sell as natural and wholesome as possible.
In 2008 we got together with Vogel Farms and started offering Turkeys. Little did we know that 100 birds would soon grow to 800 birds.
In May and June we get our first chicks, by July they are running free in the orchard.
In the weeks before Thanksgiving we start the butchering process. We take the turkeys to a USDA approved facility. Due to USDA chilling requirements and labor shortages at our butcher shop our birds will have been frozen for up to 3 weeks. They will all be thawed for distribution.
You can order your bird up to a year in advance. We ask you to pick from a range of sizes. We will do our best to get you into that range. Quantities are limited.
You can pick up your turkey at Vogel Farms during Thanksgiving week.
Any birds that are not sold for Thanksgiving will remain frozen. If you are interested in a turkey any other time, contact us, and we will see what we can do.
